Family Fun
Visitors to the Food Festival can unwind in the summer sunshine at the annual Hampton Court Palace Food Festival, where family fun takes centre stage in the beautiful East Gardens.
Little ones can enjoy face painting, transforming into their favourite characters or adorable animals, before hopping on a Shire Horse and Cart Ride for a taste of royal tradition.
Fuel your family’s competitive spirit with vintage garden games or relax to the sounds of live music at the bandstand. In 2025, we welcomed beloved character Bluey for meet&greet sessions with our young visitors, as well as the craft area where kids could get creative with crafting activities, or dance to lively tunes in the MOVEIT Dance Academy tent with new silent disco and workshop sessions across the weekend.
With a packed schedule of entertainment, shopping and delicious food, the festival promises an unforgettable day out for all ages when it returns in 2026. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, making it the perfect summer outing for the whole family. Make a date to visit next August bank oliday weekend!
Children need to accompannied by an adult at all times, these are not drop-off activities.

We introduced the MOVE IT Dance Academy! Led by some of the UK's best dance teachers, our exciting workshops were bursting with fun for the whole family - from little ones to grandparents! Experienced dancers and those trying it for the first time all joined in with our fun sessions, where everyone shared the joy of movement. So, let's continue to dance, laugh, and make unforgettable family memories together.

The LEGO® Group took over the Creation Station at Food Festival, encouraging imagination and creativity sharing amongst family and friends. With themed zones, kids could build their own wonderful creation with help from LEGO® bricks.
