Dogs are not permitted within the palace, courtyards or gardens unless they are trained assistance dogs. This includes medical alert dogs. We are happy to provide water on request. Please let us know in advance by contacting [email protected] if you wish to bring a guide dog with you so we can make sure your animal is catered for.
Unfortunately emotional support animals are not allowed, due to the fact that they generally haven’t received the same training as medical assistance pets and therefore pose more of a risk to the historic fabric and collections.
