Experience the spectacular gardens of Hampton Court Palace as they transform into a bustling fayre full of independent stalls offering one-of-a-kind handmade items - this isn't your average artisan market.
This is the perfect chance to sample a stunning range of artisanal homeware, fashion accessories, luxury beauty products and much more, with full admission to Henry VIII’s famous palace included.
If you can't wait until then, why not check out the Festive Fayre, coming to the palace this December:
Read on for our top six things to do on your visit to the Fayre...
It wouldn't be the Artisan Fayre without our exhibitors! You can browse and buy from over 100 independent makers and producers, with a range of gifts to tempt. From candles, socks, homewares, kitchen accessories, perfumes and diffusers, jewellery, knitwear, fashion and lots more to discover, don't forget your shopping bags!
When you're feeling peckish, stop by one our many street food stalls showcasing delicious, freshly prepared cuisine. From Korean fried chicken Italian pizza, home-style Indian street food, loaded pies, to refreshing salads and toastie sandwiches, there is something to tempt every palate... as well as sweet treats for a delicious pick-me-up!
Unleash your inner artist at one of our hands-on mini workshops, expertly guided by our master tutors. Here you can create a jesmonite tray, make origami led by award-winning artist, design a fabric banner or coiled pot for your trinkets, and many more, uniquely infused with your own personality. Our younger visitors will also relish the chance to make their own designs in child-friendly workshops!
Set in the magnificent palace grounds, no trip to the Artisan Fayre is complete without taking time to explore the kitchens, apartments, grounds, and stately rooms within the palace. If you're bringing young children, make a bee-line to the maze and play areas too, via the Privy Gardens and Wilderness as it springs into flower.
For some toe-tapping tunes and a traditional sing-a-long, the live music at the bandstand is just the ticket! Relax on the lawn (with a cheeky drink from our pop-up bars) and take a breather before heading back round the Fayre to pick up some last-minute purchases
Take a break from browsing and join in with some traditional fête games on the East Lawn, where you can try your hand with a whack-a-mole, bean bag toss or an array of other activities.
...and there is more – visitors can meet the last working Shire horses in London and take a carriage ride with them.
