As brothers in law and best buds, Sim and Jack combined their love for cooking delicious food and family values to create a professional, quality kitchenware brand that would stand the test of time.

Founded in 2020, Deer & Oak started as a lockdown passion project when home cooking became more essential than ever.
Jack wanted to bring back the joy in eating as a family, whilst Sim wanted to focus on designing products that didn't cost an arm and a leg yet still need replacing after a few uses.

Soon, family gatherings morphed into business meetings as design ideas gathered momentum and the Deer & Oak brand was born with the focus on combining practicality with aesthetics.

The brand name was inspired by the villages in Kent they had both happened to grow up in and as a close knit team, they strived to create a brand that was strong and professional whilst maintaining the wholesome purpose of bringing people together.
